It behaved beautifully in my cold process soap, no ricing and no trace acceleration. This oil is best used within one year. I get complements every time i use my product made with it. Don't get this confused with the smell of straight frankincense essential oil because it definitely is not that. Just as fabulous in lotion. COMMENTS:Wonderful, not overbearing, love it in tarts! (Fragrances that contain vanillin will likely turn products into varying shades of brown. COMMENTS:One of my most absolute popular scents! All my customers wow over this fragrance, by far the best. Best way to describe it is go smell some frankincense and if you like it, you'll love this fragrance oil. I really enjoy this fragrant oil. People love it, and don't realize it smells like Catholic mass incense unless I point it out. I am anxiously awaiting my WSP shipment, scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, to finish this product. This fragrance has 6% vanilla content. my customers love it! Potpourri. That being saidit is a very, very lovely scent. You must test each oil in each application for evaluation of desired performance. It sticks strong in cold processed soap. I have learned that letting the laundry soap 'cure' for a bit after it is completely made before using helps to hold the scent through drying the clothes which is what I was trying to accomplish. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. Now that it's fully cured, the scent has not morphed at all, and it's strong and pleasant. The "Maximum Use Level for Skin Exposure" is the amount of fragrance, flavor and essential oil that can come in contact with the skin. so can only do certain products.
