I don't have the 450 to dish out for the Ohio right now, and saw what seems to be a reputable company selling a 200 amp for 210 plus shipping on ebay. Had this choice with Motorcraft starters recently, I paid the extra $100 for the remanufactured USA made Motorcraft instead of the non remanufactured China made Motorcraft version. actually while writing this reply, I tried calling Mechman, said they will would be out of the office until today, but hence I still got that recording. I find this guy on ebay looks promising i hope his alternator is better than iraggi and im unsure about ordering from EA 200 amp alternators for 160 bucks? I'm mainly just.looking for better than the factory 110 amp alternator, so if it's only 140 to 160 amps I'm fine with it. a friend of mine called DC later in the day and got another answer right away. Had this choice with Motorcraft starters recently, I paid the extra $100 for the remanufactured USA made Motorcraft instead of the non remanufactured China made Motorcraft version. actually while writing this reply, I tried calling Mechman, said they will would be out of the office until today, but hence I still got that recording. OK So I did not buy the alternator yet, because I wanted to continue to torubleshoot before I dropped $269 + tax, shipping etc. like DB electrical. I got my 300 amp max 165 amp at idle alternator for my Cadillac for $420 shipped.. A 230amps is very big compared with 110 amp.
