If you get a chip in one or 2 of the carbide cutters, just loosen them, turn them 90 degrees, tighten, and keep working---minimal downtime. The only downfall of installing this head on the DeWalt 735 is that it makes the machine work much harder.

I haven't run anything through this one yet, but the Jet jointer does leave small (.001"-.002") ridges, but are easily sanded out with normal sanding/finishing..sure beats the deeper divots that full width blades leave.
