Because of the abundance of cows,you can find on the mumu farm. Been a loooooong time without a Sur. They can be tricky to kill,but ifyou can clear these guys with ease,theycan drop all sorts of the good loot and highrunes are included in that droptable. The first place to farm high-level D2R runes is The Stony Tomb, when you are teleporting around looking for the leg, you can come across all different kinds of stuff, where you can find good items, youll come across small encampments, those zombies are immune to lightning, you dont necessarily have to teleport around the whole thing, but as you meet these groups, make sure to take them out for a chance of getting high runes, which only requires a few seconds. The problem here is that a lot of beetles can shoot out a ton of lightning damage, which is kind of difficult. Magic finddoesn't matter.
Nonetheless chaos sanctuary same idea. It's lightning fast (pun intended) and you get other good drops as well. Chaos: Chaos is a great place to have high-level runes.
