parlabane brookmyre thriller hachette Its really nice to see Natalia and her new allies getting up to some old school superhero action; I was getting tired of every BW story being about her Red Room origins.

Natasha was so effectively trained that it only stands to reason that the Russian government would repeat her training on another candidate.

Kind of sexist, especially in how the characters are drawn. Cover art makes the Black Widow look like Angelina Jolie. Thrilling adventures of Marvel's deadliest superspy!

When the series gets a little further along, they start to connect more. This really wasn't as great as I was hoping it would be.

This artwork is so amazing & beautiful!! 1 star for the first story and 5 for the second.

But, better late than never, right? Start by marking Black Widow as Want to Read: Error rating book. Most like the slick/cool art and find the story just okay.

It's a great character piece, and even the addition of new characters doesn't take away from the fact that this is Natasha's book. His new urban fantasy novel is London Falling, out from Tor on December 6th.

Also, the artwork was REALLY hard to get passed. The Black Widow knows no fear, but that all changes as she faces a threat from her past!

The relationship between Yelena and Natasha is fantastic. The latter is younger and more ambitious, ready to take Natasha's place by killing her while they are both hunting down a mysterious gas weapon that will turn normal people into monstrous killing machines.

Thompson, Casagrande, and Bellaire are a great creative team. No wonder I was a little confused. I'm not very familiar with the character (outside of movies), so I thought I'd take a quick lesson on who Black Widow really is. And the way they use the old school printing color dots to show that this is all a flashback is really fun, Gore is not my thing but no restrains Natasha is, so mixed feelings for the cover, she is truly such an amazing fighter, not just physically but also mentally.

Too much stereotypical super-people for my preference. When the series gets a little further along, they start to connect more. I love the dynamic of Natasha and Yelena adopting powerful teen girls and arguing about how best to care for and raise them like an old married couple.

I keep being lured into reading the current, Nathan Edmondson has probably created my favorite version of Natasha Romanov with.

She does kind of come out of nowhere, but her existence does make sense. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

Black Widow is still recovering from having to send her family away.

Just don't expect it to be the same as the film adaptions. I adore the art work and the effort put into this story but I thought the flow of the story was incoherent and confusing.

kickbutt female lead fans, graphic novel readers. Please don't tell me this is another shame the woman for her past type of story." Nice surprises.

NUFF SAID!

This volume collects two three-issue Black Widow stories, Breakdown by Devin Grayson and Greg Rucka illustrated by Scott Hampton and the title story by Grayson illustrated by J.G. With the publication of Batman: Gotham Knights in March of 2000, she became the first (and, sadly, only as of 2020) female to create, launch and write an ongoing Batman title.

A great journey through the many decades in her life from her time in 1940's to the modern day.

Id be really happy if Team Widow stayed together for a good, long time. Wed love your help.

Since the author couldnt be bothered to provide one, who can come up with the best explanation for how Craig went from floating out a window on a parachute to being in a locked closet in a building across town?

Action packed battle. The team up!

It's pretty accessible for new readers (besides the Hawkeye cameo, that's more of a joke for people who have read Fractions Hawkeye).

Something is very wrong with Natash, WHITE - WIDOW?! The action! His new urban fantasy novel is London Falling, out fr. Both feature Natasha and her would-be replacement, Yelena Belova.

Pretty sick issue, love when a book is just one long fight.

Natasha is still reeling from the previous arc, understandably, and we can see her attempting to deal with what went on in different ways across these five issues.

Picking up after the personal stress and mental anguish of the last GN, Nat is not in the best of moods.

Marvel could do so much more with Black Widow than they do. Shes joined by Yelena, Spider Girl and a few other surprises.

I ran across this combined volume, and figured I'd re-read them and see what I thought now.

The first arc was okay, but that second arc Really could have done without that.

Sadly, I was disappointed with this volume.

This definitely felt like a product of its time, and there were some elements that I don't think would have been handled quite the same if they'd been written now. Natasha Romanoff has just been through the most emotional adventure of her long life, and the experience has left her looking to do things differently.

The deadly origins was an enjoyable 3.5.

The watercolor look is quite unusual in comics, especially in superhero comics.

It's not a bad storyline.

There's dialog and lots of inner monologue, but characters pop up and the casual reader, like me, doesn't know who they are.

The super skin tight suit with the nips out was super cursed and Yelena having a suit with a crop top is the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my entire life though.
