Came here for dinner and had an easter menu We are really happy and satisfied for staying at Scandic. My favorites were the chorizo with chiles del padrn and the patatas bravas. Colonialen Litteraturhuset is the largest and most easygoing eatery in the restaurant portfolio of Ken and Laila Skorge. - Comfortable cushioned booths outside Colonialen Kranen is situated a good 15 minutes walk from Bergen city center in an old crane (hence the name) which has been reconstructed to an elegantly-designed casual eatery with Scandinavian-style interior. Booked a different hotel, and literally was never notified that the hotel was closed until I walked 1km after 11 hours of travel only to find a printed sign on the door. Don't expect anything amazingly special, but location+prices+sizes make this place a safe heaven for travellers. The temperature adjustment is broken and the room is too cold.
